Artificial Intelligence is a hot topic right now with folks having strong positive and negative emotions about it. The challenge is there’s also a lot of misunderstandings about what AI is, what it can do and how we, as UX folks, can make use of it. AI has also recently been a scapegoat for a lot of woes recently in the UX, research and design world. We’ll talk about what AI is at an introductory level and discuss some of the current misconceptions, questions and applications to our work.
We’ll also explore how to design AI products and examine whether UX principles differ between conventional products and those with AI capabilities.
