Our event for May is presented by Medtronic.
The business of getting user experience work done in large organizations presents both obvious and more subtle challenges to everyone involved. Designers needs to collaborate - and well - with development teams. UX needs a seat at the project and product tables. If the organization has different levels of digital sophistication, find some common ground and shared touchpoints. A career path for people newer to the field needs to be considered. If you have a design system, that "source of truth" is managed in various ways. And when a global pandemic has an impact on the company, what does that mean to your workstreams and how do you lead with compassion?
In this panel discussion, leaders from five Twin Cities-based companies that have growing and/or strong UX practices will discuss how they manage capacity amid a world that is constantly changing. They'll also talk about how leading, influencing and collaborating are key components in gaining allies in the user-centered design movement
