Optum Technology: Strategies for Measuring UX + Research Lab Tours

How do you measure user experience?  We have many ways to gather feedback from users, customers and partners, but how do mature UX teams use metrics? What metrics are worth measuring?  Is it worth measuring at all?

This talk will cover why, what and when to measure as well as common metrics used by UX teams like the System Usability Scale (SUS), Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other ways to measure efficiency, satisfaction and performance.  We’ll also discuss some of the lessons learned from using metrics broadly across many products and projects over time.

Lab Tours (during networking time)

Guided tours will be offered of Optum’s multi-purpose research lab. Limited tour spots will be available due to time constraints, so arrive right at 6:00 to get in line for a tour.

Speaker

Lyle Kantrovich, Director of User Experience

        Eden Prairie, MN 55344

Note: Enter at Building C Skyway

Important GPS Note: There are multiple Optum campuses in Eden Prairie so don’t use your GPS to just navigate to Optum – it will take you to the wrong location.

        Parking

Visitors should park in the free parking ramp behind the main buildings, not in the surface lot signed for guest parking.  Use the stairs/elevator to enter Building C through the Skyway (Level P4). This is the only entrance that visitors are allowed to enter through after business hours.
