According to recent industry watch publications, 80 percent of older adults live in their own homes—and nearly half of those over age 75 live there alone. The desire to continue to live independently at home dominates the minds of the oldest baby boomers, who are now in their 70s.

How do we design products for the unique emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of the increasing aging population? As an industry, it’s time to go beyond web accessibility—and believe we can do more than provide a lifeline for someone who’s fallen and can’t get up.

Join us for an interactive exploration of the latest research and heuristics on designing for seniors who are aging in place, presented by Kat Jayne of Fathom Consulting.
